One of my biggest personal revelations was when I realized I'd never seen a miracle.

I mean... I've seen a ton of I think my headache feels a little better or my leg seems a little longer or I don't think I need to take my meds today or the cheque arrived just in time kind of miracles. But never a real miracle.

But for me to admit that was outrageously offensive, not only to me but those who knew me, because I grew up in a Christian culture of miracles and healing where, if anyone should have seen them, it was me!

Please... I'm not dissing miracles or those who believe in them. I'm just sharing with you what I saw... or didn't see.

And this was a major development in my spirituality.
