The Joy and Pain of Deconstruction Digital Cartoon

Deconstruction of faith is complicated. 

Basically, it's the questioning of our beliefs, faith, religion, church... well... everything!

So... like most growing pains... it means we're growing, but it also hurts.

What are some of the pains?

Doubt.
Fear.
Confusion.
Criticism.
Rejection.
Loneliness.

Those are just some.

What are some of the joys?

Peace.
Freedom.
Openness.
Happiness.
Expansion.
Courage.

Those are just some.

For me, it's movement from a tightly controlled life to an open and free one.

Internally, it feels like peace of mind.
Externally, it feels like freedom.
